Night actions

The detective finally got back, about twelve hours to late to save Meri.

I asked all the sleeper claimants to get back in touch with me about their role description - only major_pain and CAB did it, so this puts the other two sleeper claimants - Neo and Robod-cat - under the spotlight. We did a 'how many people voted for TheBigN' check and it came back 2 - one is obviously Robod-cat, and the other is somebody the Liar has faked to throw us off the trail.

Looking at the list of claimants, the contested roles are now amongst the unaffiliated. We've got Kemi, Uberlegen and TheWinkel vying for the last two green spots. We know green players all have two night lives so if we hit each of them once, any who are still alive afterwards are really green. However this really is unreliable and since we only have two hits, it's better to go for the players we know about.

One of our vigs was sabotaged last night so he gets to make another hit tonight instead. We also had a Lucid Dreamer role Vigilante, and the other got Dream Interpreter which is kind of useless at this point. I am buffed with Vigilante and will be hitting NeoNostalgia, our Vig will be hitting Robod-cat. If either of those does not die, they must be the Mad-Doctor protected red, and we lynch them the next day.

Working out which of Kemi, Uber and TheWinkel is really the mafia will be tough. I'll need to get them to vote for three different people and use the two dream interpreters to see which one is mafia. Then in night 4, we take down the last mafia player.

What happens to green then, I don't know. The role description I was shown was kind of unsubtle, to me it looks like they are a mafia team that didn't know each other from the start. Fortunately green looks like they are just as happy slaughtering each other, and as long as they continue to do so I am content to leave them alone.

Medic: Our medic is covering the vig tonight to prevent any last minute shennanigans.
Lucid dreamer one buffed me with vigilante, lucid dreamer two buffed lucid dreamer one with dream interpreter (which is unfortunately useless since there were only two vote lists :/).
Umino is sabotaging major_pain. I originally had him down as mafia but when Meri died as blue I realised I had been tricked. Unfortunately Umino's sabotage is put in during the day phase, not night, so I can't ask him to change it to Neo or Robod-cat now :/

The detective will probably randomly guess either Kemi/Uber/TheWinkel to detective check but given his track record, I don't want to rely on him. It's the second time he has given me a role check after-the-role-is-revealed.

The only real spanner that could go in the wrench is what will happen if we accidentally kill the Innocent Dreamer. I was reading the mafia game web page and it says that 'Wrath of God' kills whomever hits the innocent ie death.

Man I hope Neo isn't the innocent dreamer >.>;;

Edit: Two nightmares voted for Shazback also. One is liar faked I expect, however in that list is major_pain, robod-cat AND CAB.

Maybe having major_pain sabotaged wasn't such a bad idea after all. I guess we'll find out tomorrow, but after accidentally killing Meristele I don't want another repeat performance. My pact with major_pain for his vote was that I could not randomly kill him, so I can't do it unless I've got no other options left.

Night Actions

I heard back from THG who claimed that Sarck was a Dream Cleanser, but Zero claims he didn't make a detective check, apparently sabotaged. DNA claims that Zero checked BK. We'll see from BK's night clues what Zero actually did.

I've asked Umino to sabotage TheBigN so he can't make a hit tonight. I expect 1337guard really does have a nasty surprise, my guesses in public are what I really think, and I expect Skulkraken can make one more hit.

Sarck continues to be a big suspicious cat. He claimed that he hit SpiritClaw16 last night but the hit didn't go through...which appears to be a lie, since SpiritClaw16 is a lowly Incubo. If only Zero had made his same check, then we'd know for sure who he was. I'd write Sarck off now as mafia except the other Cleanser is stubbornly refusing to make a hit, claiming we don't have enough evidence on TheBigN. We were able to get Spirit with just the claws reference, what more do you need for TheBigN? Honestly. I'm sick to death of arguing with people to do common sense things.

DNA's big push for BK surprised me today. He is normally a fairly quiet fellow, so I wonder what the real motivation was. Our vote check on the voters for BK came back as 3 mafia, which are apparently SpiritClaw, Skulkraken and TheBigN. That means DNA, Kemi and Kaiba are definately three unaffiliated.

Our other vote check is 'how many mafia voted for TheBigN'. If it comes back 1, then we'll know CAB is actually the mafia spy, and Meristele checks out. If it comes back as two and BK really is mafia, I cry ;____; If it comes back as three that means I am mafia too, surprise!

The Lucid Dreamers rolled 'paranoid' and 'somniloquy'. One of the vigs I trust is now paranoid, and I'm a somniloquy for tonight. Hopefully I will not get the same clues as BK ^^;;

Umino took a hit last night apparently. I doubt mafia will hit the same target twice in a row so the medic is covering the other vig without paranoid protection. After tonight they won't have any kill power so we can stop worrying about protecting them.

We think this refers to the unaffiliated or sleepers doing something. There are four clues, but five sleepers. Wonderfully specific, no? Something has changed. I wonder if I should make this public knowledge.

I've given two vigs their night targets but I know one of them will refuse to hit (siiiiiigh) so it will be another quiet night. FFS. Suspicious-cat-Sarck needs to kill a mafia tonight or I will have him lynched tomorrow. His target is either Kaiba or major_pain. We know Kaiba is unaffiliated, so I'll be interested to see if Sarck 'guesses' major_pain, who is supposed to be afk and unlikely to be a threat.

SpiritClaw's death was a surprise to me too. Apparently BK freaked out when she thought she was going to be lynched and picked somebody under her name. I wonder if anybody will learn from this. "I just want company", she told me afterwards. I thought she would have picked TheBigN, personally. Unfortunately it means we can't use it to protect at night :/

Sigh, no surprises here. One vig refuses to make his hit and the other one is afk until Wednesday. Fucking hilarious. I can only hope their deaths will awaken a sleeper with kill power and balls to actually use it. I expect mafia will still try to kill the vigs so the medic stays where he is for tonight.

Well I managed to pursuade the paranoid protected vig to make a hit - they didn't agree with TheBigN being mafia, but are going to hit Kemindul instead. I explained that the other three under BK's name weren't mafia but they didn't believe me. They could have at least hit TheBigN. Maybe if I'm lucky one of the unaffiliated will do it for me :/ The argument was that DNA at least made a plausible argument (which it was not) and Kemi just voted 'randomly'. Maybe that's true but Kemi has been friendly, while DNA has been giving me attitude ever since voting :/

DNA claimed that Zero is the blue detective, so I expect mafia will knock Zero on the head tonight and whoever he really is won't matter - the liar will mask him as the detective. This will give 'credibility' to BK being the liar. However at this point Zero has not made a single detective check so whoever he is, it's not the blue detective.

However we got our second vote check back on 'How many mafia voted for TheBigN' and got a '1' - that means CAB is mafia, and Meristele checks out.

So finally we have the last mafia and now it's just a matter of time.

I've been waiting to hear back from our dream interpreters/detectives to work out what to do today, but Spada hasn't got back to any of them.

There's less than 15 hours until the end of the day phase and we haven't seen a single vote tally yet.

I am pretty confident we'll get 1337guard but I don't have a clue who will vote where.

I will be surprised if there are no mafia voting for me.

My main fear is that 1337guard has picked up Sagi's pardon ability and will use it to save either Skul or TheBigN, and whoever is in third place (ie me) will get thrust up to second place and then lynched. I have a contingency in place for this.

I will ask Umino to sabotage whichever of Skulkraken/TheBigN are not lynched. That will mean one less hit on the town, if all goes well.

I asked BK to soul-bind 1337guard with one of our suspected mafia but she refused to do it. It's the same argument most people have said - they aren't willing to kill without solid proof. I would write in all caps here but BK will see it later and I may have to eat some humble pie, so. BUT! Maybe she will consider to use it to help PROTECT townies tonight. Guess we'll see how the lynch goes.

I am pretty sure the leak is THG. I'm unwilling to kill him though just in case I am wrong and damn, dead detective by mayor = very embarassing. The problem is I don't actually know that THG is _our_ detective. Maybe he is an unaffiliated detective? So as long as we keep feeding him misinformation and don't give him any more roles he can't 'accidentally' give them away.

Players I want to know about are Kaiba and Sarck. I will get both detectives to check the same person today, and then check the other person tomorrow (assuming they are alive). If they both give me the same answer, then I know that role is legit. If they give me different answers then we have a suspicious-cat~~~ Unfortunately this still doesn't verify either of our detectives but atleast we will be getting some use out of them...

I will wait and see a tally from Spada before urging the town again to take action. We can use the dream interpreters to work out how many mafia vote (taking into account the liar) in the night phase.

I made some big updates to the list after I heard back from some of our night actions. Seems people aren't as willing to prove their color as I had hoped.

I am thinking of calling a double lynch and putting Skulkraken and 1337guard up.

I don't know why mafia made so few hits last night. Are they waiting for something?

One of our alleged vigs refused to make a hit last night on somebody who now appears to be mafia.

I was positive Sarck was Mafia but there are no clues pointing to him last night. I also have one too many groups up there. So it's possible Bscar really is an unaffiliated, and not mafia, but he's proved quite happy to kill townies so he's got to go too.

If we are 'lucky', Mafia will hit some of our sleepers and the real detective and that will help us find the fakes. But I am certain they will be assholes and wipe out the Dreamers first since they are the only role that can't be faked :/

I didn't tell him the identities of anybody else since the less people who know stuff, the less likely it can be leaked out.

I asked Spada if anything special happened when we had four Dreamers and he said I got a cookie, but now that we have five...

Has the 5th Dreamer been identified. From the narative is sounds like the Dreamers are some kind of gang. Maybe we are stronger some how when all together.

Black Kitty claims to be a Somniloquy and Aarin a Dream Interpreter.

BK claims to have verified one other person in this manner:

They both swapped the names of their roles after the roles were sent out, but prior to the roles being revealed. Both roles were secret. They also swapped key parts of their role description.
